VOXLUMO · PROJECT READINESS
Prepare the recording before you transcribe it.
A short checklist that reduces avoidable review work and helps you choose the right output.
1 · Use the best source file
Choose the clearest original recording available instead of a re-recorded copy when possible.
2 · Note important names and terms
Keep a short reference list for unusual names, organizations, products, technical terms and acronyms that must be exact.
3 · Decide the deliverables
Start with the transcript, then add speakers, timestamps, subtitles, summary, translation or structured exports only when needed.
4 · Decide the review level
Plan extra review when the recording is difficult, terminology is specialized, or the output will be published or used operationally.
5 · Treat long recordings as a review workflow
Large supported audio can be prepared in browser-side chunks. Check speaker attribution carefully on important multi-speaker recordings.
