What does Voxlumo do?
Voxlumo turns authorized audio or supported video recordings into editable transcripts. Speaker labels, timestamps, summaries, subtitles, translation and meeting outputs can be added when needed.
Can I transcribe the recording myself?
Yes. The Workspace is the self-service path: upload the recording, review the transcript and export the result.
Can Voxlumo do the transcription for me?
Yes. The done-for-you path lets you prepare the project scope, select the recording and define deliverables. Secure service-upload storage is not active yet, so that page currently prepares the handoff rather than sending the file to Voxlumo.
Which languages are supported?
The current customer workflow supports Arabic, English and German, including mixed or multilingual recordings where practical. Translation workflow currently covers Arabic, English and German.
What happens with long recordings?
Supported large audio can be prepared in browser sections and processed sequentially. Very long recordings need review because speaker labels are not guaranteed to preserve the same identity across independently processed sections.
Which file types can I use?
Common audio formats include MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG and WEBM. Small MP4 files can process directly; large video files may need audio extraction or conversion first.
What can I download?
Depending on the result, Voxlumo can provide clean TXT, speaker TXT, Meeting Pack, Markdown, JSON, SRT and VTT.
Does Voxlumo permanently store my audio?
The current self-service transcription flow is request-based and does not intentionally create a permanent customer-audio archive in the application. Locally saved projects are stored in the browser on the current device. Provider processing and retention depend on the configured provider terms and deployment settings.
Is Voxlumo certified for regulated work?
No certification is claimed unless it has actually been established. Sensitive legal, medical, government or regulated projects should confirm hosting, retention, DPA, security and contractual requirements before use.
Do I have to use all the AI features?
No. The transcript is the core deliverable. Summaries, Ask Your Audio, Meeting Intelligence, translation and subtitles are optional.
